Lucy joined ScotiaMcLeod in 1991 with an extensive background in the financial services industry. As an energetic and efficient Administrative Assistant, she is known as the ‘backbone’ of the team- directly responsible for all client related day-to-day operations and requests.

Lucy prides herself on being highly organized, her professionalism and taking ownership of what needs to be done, delivering with proactivity and healthy sense of fun.

She enjoys her interaction with clients and puts their priorities first. Clients understand that Lucy will get to the bottom of what’s needed, pulling out all the stops and keeping them updated as she goes along.

Alex Rochtchine, CLU, CFP, CIM, PFP

Senior Total Wealth Planner

As a Total Wealth Planner, Alex is responsible for guiding our clients through our Total Wealth Planning process, which begins with a thoughtful consideration of their entire financial picture, immediate needs, and goals for the future. With a clear understanding of our clients’ unique financial situation, Alex collaborates with our team of specialists to develop a customized Total Wealth Plan that is comprehensive, forward-looking, and tailored to help each client reach their financial goals. Through an evolving Total Wealth Plan, Alex works with our clients to help them achieve future success – as they define it.

Alex is an accredited professional having earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Personal Financial Planner (PFP), and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designations and is a graduate of McMaster University with a Bachelor of Commerce. He brings over ten years of experience in the financial services industry.

Alex’s passions include arts and cooking, and he enjoys exploring different cultures through travel.

Justin Ecclestone, HBA, CFP®, TEP

Estate & Trust Consultant

As an Estate and Trust Consultant, Justin is responsible for providing advice and guidance to clients for their Will and estate planning strategies. Clients benefit from customized tax-considered strategies that align their investment, retirement, philanthropic and estate plans to help safeguard financial well-being into the next generation.

A graduate of the Wealth Management Associate Program, Justin has experience across multiple areas of Scotia Wealth Management’s extensive Total Wealth services. Justin obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts (HBA) from Ivey Business School at Western University. He also holds the Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). Outside of work, Justin can be found at his club’s tennis and squash courts.
